Flight Refund Policy
There are two sub categories in refund policy; Refundable and Non-refundable tickets.
Refundable tickets have a 15% additional surcharge on the base fare applicable at the time of purchase.
Any ticket may be converted into a refundable ticket by furnishing additional surcharge “at least” 15 days before the day of departure.
i. INVOLUNTARY REFUNDS
If HB Taban “CANCELS” a flight, or fails to operate a flight reasonably according to schedule, or is unable to provide confirmed space on which the Passenger holds a confirmed reservation, in such a scenario the amount of the refund shall be:
(a) An amount equal to the fare paid; “If” no portion of the ticket is used.
(b) In case “a” portion of the ticket is used then the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the “portion” of the ticket used.
ii. VOLUNTARY REFUNDS
If the Passenger wishes a refund of his or her Ticket for reasons other than covered under “involuntary refunds” the following rules shall be applicable:
(a) If no portion of the Ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid, less applicable service charges (15%) and cancellation fees shall be applicable.
(b) If a portion of the Ticket has been used, the refund will be the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the transportation used, less applicable service charges plus cancellation fees.
